Patience

As I often look to the heavens, the angels, GOD for answers, most often I am brought back to patience. Patience is a difficult thing to manage at times...it is tricky when we wish for things to happen or have particular expectations to situations; to be strong and one with patience.

Recently, I received a message from a wonderful and loving angel about patience and it comes back to me every time my patience is thin. This angel asked me to study the night sky and notice how patient the stars are. They stay so long waiting for the proper alignment in shifts to make their movement. It is like a beautiful, perfect scene at all times. Because of this, their movement is graceful and one with all it surrounds.

From personal experience, I can honestly say that expectations can get in the way of living in the moment and being patient with all that is available to you at this time. I ask for you to explore your patience as an observer. Do your expectations exist? Could they be limiting your enjoyment in the now, and is there some reason for you to be where you are at this point in time? Could there be something left to finish or to learn? The angels ask you to confront patience with courage and commitment. It is asked of us to participate as both an observer and witness to the natural order and flow of existence.

Oh happy spring!

While experiencing change, are you able to consider the “re-birth” process?

Oh happy spring! With the entry of spring comes the renewal of hope; the process of “re-birth”. For us, “re-birth” consists of changes that can take place in many different ways, shapes and forms but the one constant is that change is inevitable and will occur for all of us.

At times, change can be difficult, challenging and overwhelming especially when it is unexpected or does not have the result we would like.

Part of our reaction towards change comes from fear—fear of the unknown and fear of what is to come.

One such example of this is taking place in my front yard where we have a rhododendron bush that has looked as though it was dying for the past several months. When we expected to see renewal, we saw sadness…where we expected to see life, we saw deterioration.

Worried about what we were seeing, my husband and I turned to the internet for answers to try and figure out why this was happening. After some searching, we reached the conclusion that the bush had been infiltrated by a fungus of sorts that was in fact destroying the bush from its strength and resiliently…or so we thought. After discovering what was happening to the bush, we decided to wait the process out, knowing it had strong roots and the power to restore.

Life is resurfacing, new beginnings are developing. Beautiful to see, this bush is now showing new green and buds awakening from the strength within.

While we are not bushes in the yard facing fungus and such, we are beings experiencing changes within and throughout our existence. Like the bush, we all have the ability to be reborn and renewed. Sometimes however, in order for us to move forward, we need to be willing to let go and allow for parts of us that no longer serve our highest good to wither away, making room for the new wonderful changes that await…just beyond our reach.

Making changes can be scary and can create fear. The angels say there is nothing to fear. Fear will keep you in a place of confusion. They ask for you to trust the changes as they come. Trust the process of experiencing change. It is for your highest good, for all of our highest good.
